This blog has seemed to have turned into a product list over the last few days with all my activity on Folksy, so I thought that today I would tell you about my weekend instead.
I live in a small welsh village called Blaenavon. It has a coal mining and iron works background and received heritage status, which has seen the village develop. I am biased, but I love living here. Check out the website.
Over the weekend was our Heritage Day and Garn Lakes Country Fayre. For once, the weather was wonderful. We also have a steam railway.
We also had a picnic

So Sorry
I have been such a bad blogger over the last week. It is not that I haven't done anything but that I have had so much to do.
After the party, I had more stuff to make and pack which people had ordered.
I have had large magnet orders to make and complete.
The stock I did have left from the party, I have managed to sell at work.
I had to write place cards for my friends wedding.
I have had an order for 5 Mr Darcy mugs from a shop :)
....and I have forgotten to take photos of all this!!!
This week promises to be just as busy, as my daughter has her dancing show. I have to finish sorting out her costumes tonight.
My promise is to remember to take more photos!!!

Mugs on folksy
Sorry to everyone who expected the mugs to be on Folksy yesterday.
After my busy week preparing for the pary, I decided to have a well deserved day off from Lilies and Daisies (although I did do a little bit of supply shopping).
So the mugs have now been listed.
Just had two wholesale orders for corsage brooches and magnets, so more to keep me busy. I mustn't complain. :)

First Lilies and Daisies Party
I had my first product party last night. I didn't really have time to get nervous as so busy trying to make things, find display stuff and work out the logistics of how things was going to plan out. I didn't have high expectations as I have read a few blogs where really successful internets shops haven't really sold much when doing craft faris and parties.
However, it went really really well!! (The photos are not too good as table was in front of a window!)
I think the presentation at the start could have gone better, but it was my first attempt and that can only improve with practice. The table I had looked lovely and I am so grateful for my sister Andrea and niece Anastasia, who helped to set it all up. I took over £100 which is amazing considering that my most expensive item sold was only £4.50
It is something I definitetly will have to do more of and I how have the confidence to try a few craft fairs.

Can't wait to post the photos Sunday, and even if I haven't sold anything, it means there will be extra to sell on the internet.

Rhi's Chicken Day
For blog giveaway, click here.
Yesterday was Rhiannon's Chicken Day (or refined Hen Party). We went to a tea party, as I previous blogged about. It was a lovely afternoon with a plentiful supply of cakes!!
I made badges for everyone...
...and everyone had a rose clip for their hair.
Rhiannon had a special rose hair band.
As you can tell, I enjoyed the food!
Her wedding to Leon is on the 25th. I wish them both every happiness and I know they will have a wonderful life together.

June Blog Giveaway
Can you believe it is June already! Won't be long before I will have to start making christmas stuff!! :)
Time again for another Blog Giveaway. I have lots of new things at the moment, so it has taken me ages to decide what the prize can be. But I have eventually decided to giveaway one of the Mr Darcy mugs to help promote the launch of me making and selling them on Folksy.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this is to either join as a follower and leave a comment to let me know, or if you are already a follower, just leave any comment here. You can also be in for an extra chance to win, if you promote this giveaway on your blog and leave me the link. The giveaway will run for a week, as usual.
Good Luck!!

Loving my days off
I worked all over the Bank Holiday, and as usual for a Bank Holiday, it was crazy!! Was so tired when had to get up this morning. Took me about 20 minutes just to be able to open my eyes. Poor children!!
So now I have 6 days off. It is half term, so today we are trying to make cleaning fun! Think I need some luck with that.
I also have secret stuff to make this week, but I will be able to show you on Sunday.
The June Blog Giveaway will be on Thursday and I still have no idea what the prize will be.
The mug I made for myself has generated interest, so I have decided to make some to sell. Going to stick with the Mr Darcy quote, but I am also looking for other quotes and verses. Any ideas, gratefully received.
As you can tell, I have an extremely busy week ahead!!
