I am currently in the process of putting all my photos onto Flickr.
There are loads of things I make which never get listed before they get sold, so I hope that by having all my photos avaliable, it will help people chose custom orders, or give people an idea of what I can do.

More making
I know...I don't post for a few days then 2 together. Just been busy working, as usual!! I dream of just being able to do Lilies and Daisies stuff!
I have made more new things. These are not yet listed in my shops, but email me if anything interests you. I am selling quite a lot to friends and family at the moment, so there is not always chance to list them straight away.

Coral large rose ring
Large pink rose ring
Daisy ring (don't my hands look wrinkly!!)
Recycling
My Cath Kidston wicker bag broke. I had too much in it. I just tend to fill bags till they overflow. It broke in the middle of shopping too. I loved it so much and nearly cried.
The lining was a lovely floral fabric and so in memory...it has been recycled into magnets. This is a vintage, no longer available, Cath Kidston fabric.
These can be found in my eBay shop. If I sell some, I can buy another bag. :)

More Cath Kidston Magnets
Sorry for the lack of posts this week. The baby has been ill so haven't slept for about 4 nights and I have been a evil zombie with no interest in anything but sleep!! We moved her into her own bedroom yesterday, and that combined with her feeling a little better, meant I only had to get up 3 times during the night. That is very very good for her, so feel like a new woman today!!
Here are two more designs added to the Cath Kidston magnet range.

Classic Rose on white
Spray Flowers on White
Remember that all of the magnet designs can also be made in both badges and compact mirrors. I haven't got enough time (or patience!) to list them, so just ask for a custom order if interested.

Creative Night
Last night I had a request for some rings. I got down to making them, but then got carried away creating. Here are some other things I came up with:-
Filigree and Ivory rose headband
Mini rose hair combs
Ceramic button and bow daisy lace comb
(made this in blue and green)
Filigree hair grip
...and large rose hair combs in...
..peach..
..green...
..and blue.
I love making new things, especially when they turn out well. The combs stay in the hair really well and I might keep one of the heart ceramic button slides. Have to stop making things to keep or will never be successful!!

Update
I thought I would just do a quick update on what is happening with me!!
Well...nothing much new I suppose. Followers of all my shops will have probably noticed that my eBay listings have decreased and more things have been listed on Folksy and Etsy. This is a decision I made due to increasing eBay fees - they are terrible!! eBay does offer good exposure tho, and I still have loads of new customers via there. Lilies and Daisies have sold world wide vie eBay and I have sent products to US, France, Spain, Belgium, New Zealand, Australia and Israel. My customers in Australia are usually people who used to live in the UK and miss the Cath Kidston/ vintage floral thing. I would miss it too.
My products at the moment are really a wide random and somewhat ecletic mix. I just like to try new things and love it when they work and sell well. And I still have so many ideas. The things I started out wanting to make still haven't being tried, and I am trying various different avenues.
My main problem (which I always keep whinging on about) is time. Unfortunetly that will probably get worse from now on. The summer school holidays start from today, so will also have to worry and find time and childcare for my 5 year old as well as my 9 month old. I also dropped my hours to 4 days when I had the baby, but from September will be going back full time!
I am so grateful for everyone who buys my products and offer support and I will continue to make things to the best of my ability. I get loads of good feedback and emails detailing what people have done with my things which is very special. People often also trust me with custom orders, which is extra rewarding, knowing how much somebody wants these things. I still have the dream of doing this full time, but know it will take a lot of time an effort. My short term plan is to do more craft fairs and product parties next year, and depending on how these turn out, to start showing my things to local shops.
This is all still just an experiment....but one which is turning out great!!

Daisy Lace
Today I have been trying a few new things, all involving filigree findings.
I loved the hair clip so much that I made a second for myself. I never usually keep anything. I have been modelling it all day - perfect for my growing fringe!!
Still a little time for everyone to enter my giveaway - winners will be chosen tomorrow.

Rose Hair Slides
For July Blog Giveaway, Click here.
Just a quick note to say that my paper rose hair slides are now listed on both Folksy and Etsy.
I have been making these for ages now in loads of colours, but they have been selling too quickly for me to have any left to list at my shops.
Someone from work also used hers as a button hole for a wedding, which I thought was a brilliant idea.

Custom Badges
For July Blog giveaway, click here!!
I have had lots of custom orders lately. Some of these are from crafters who want items to embellish their own creations.
I was asked to stitch some badges for a bag. I think they turned out really well and is something I will definitely have to add to my shops soon.

Corsage Brooches
Loads cut out...
..and loads made up.
I have such hard skin from where the scissors rests on my fingers, and I am only half way through!!
I also want to say farewell to Hazel, my friend from work who has gone to America to live. I will miss her so much, but at least with the internet, she is always only a click away.xx
