I have decided that I am actually going to make something for myself.
There are some gorgeous Amy Butler patterns around so I have decided to try this one. Really wanted to have an Amy Butler fabric too but it would have cost too much so I have got this blue floral fabric instead off eBay for a bargain £2.99 per metre.
My mum is a professional dressmaker and sewing teacher, but she is always too busy to make anything for me. She has taught me well, but find I haven't got the patience for these bigger projects. I always want things done asap. I will keep you all posted on how I am getting on!!
thats class!! I bought a sewing pattern over a year ago for a simple apron... still havent got my ass in gear!! I need to buy the fabric! I was thinking red polka dot cotton with turquoise bias....
